Considering implants, wisdom tooth surgery, or a second opinion?
During the consultation we will discuss your situation, review any imaging you already have, and go through the possible treatment options.
A surgeon shaped by clinical practice and international research.
From dental studies in Vilnius to an implantology fellowship in London, one principle has stayed the same: surgical treatment grounded in evidence, with attention to each patient.

Foundations in Vilnius
Milda earned her Master's degree in Dentistry from Vilnius University, followed by a full oral surgery residency at the Vilnius University Žalgiris Clinic, where she qualified as an oral surgeon in 2023. Her early exposure to research began during her studies, working on bone regeneration in the university's laboratories and presenting her findings at student and national conferences, often taking first place.
Clinical practice
Today she practices as an oral surgeon in Vilnius, handling the full range of oral surgery: dental implant placement, wisdom tooth and surgical extractions, bone grafting and guided bone regeneration, soft tissue procedures, and the assessment of oral pathology. She is known for taking the time to explain each step, so that patients arrive at their treatment feeling informed and calm.
International training
Milda was awarded the ITI Scholarship by the International Team for Implantology, a competitive fellowship given to a small number of clinicians worldwide each year. She spent 2024 to 2025 as an ITI Scholar at Queen Mary University of London, based at the Royal London Dental Hospital, deepening her surgical and prosthetic implant skills. Her training also includes a research stay with the KU Leuven OMFS-IMPATH group in Belgium, an education week at Harvard, a clinical fellowship at the University of Florida, and study at the Osteology Research Academy in Bern, as well as an earlier Erasmus exchange at Malmö University in Sweden.
Research and the PhD
As a PhD candidate at Vilnius University, Milda's research explores how bone can be regenerated using 3D printed scaffolds, and how new blood vessels form within them, work with real implications for rebuilding bone before implant treatment. She has authored peer reviewed papers in international journals and presented at meetings including the Academy of Osseointegration, EuroPerio, the European Association for Osseointegration, and ITI global conferences.
Teaching and research
Milda is a junior assistant at Vilnius University, where she teaches oral surgery and supervises student research. She combines clinical practice with research and teaching.

Focused oral surgery, explained clearly.
Each treatment below is planned around your anatomy, your health, and your goals. Where a case is complex, Milda works alongside prosthodontists, periodontists, and orthodontists so your care is coordinated from start to finish.
Dental implantology
Replacing missing teeth with dental implants, from single teeth to larger restorations.

Milda's implant training as an ITI Scholar in London informs every stage, from digital planning through to surgical placement and the restoration that follows.
Wisdom tooth surgery
Assessment and removal of unerupted, partially erupted, or otherwise problematic wisdom teeth.

Imaging helps assess their position in relation to nerves and neighbouring roots. Not every wisdom tooth needs to be removed: the consultation covers whether treatment is needed or monitoring is enough.
Bone regeneration & grafting
Rebuilding bone before dental implant placement where it is lacking after trauma, infection, or the changes that follow tooth loss.

Bone regeneration is one of Milda's main research areas.
Other treatments
Tooth extractions
Straightforward and surgical removal of teeth that are broken, decayed beyond repair, or causing problems.
The aim is always to protect the surrounding bone and tissue for whatever comes next.
Complex & full-arch cases
Coordinated care for demanding situations, including full-arch rehabilitation and cases involving significant bone loss.
Treatment is planned digitally, together with specialists from other areas of dentistry.
Soft tissue procedures
Surgery on the gums and soft tissues around teeth and implants.
This can include procedures to increase the band of firm, healthy tissue that protects them. Well managed soft tissue is often what makes a result both healthy and natural looking over time.
Oral pathology & diagnostics
Assessment and diagnosis of lumps, ulcers, cysts, and other changes in the mouth.
Where needed, further tests or a consultation with another specialist are arranged.
Surgical consultations
A dedicated appointment to understand your situation, review any imaging you bring, and discuss your options without pressure.
Ideal for second opinions and for planning before more involved treatment.
Anaesthesia and comfort. Procedures are carried out under local anaesthesia. Before treatment, its course, what you may feel, and your questions are discussed. Where a clinic offers sedation, the options are discussed individually.

Bone regeneration research and its clinical application.
Milda aims to complete her doctoral thesis and to continue bone regeneration research oriented toward its use in clinical practice. She continues to combine clinical work, research, and teaching.

Everything you need to feel prepared.
Oral surgery is far less daunting when you know what to expect. Here is how a consultation and treatment usually work, and how to look after yourself afterwards.
Preparing for your consultation
- Write down your main concern and any symptoms, and when they started.
- List your current medications and any allergies.
- Note relevant medical conditions, such as diabetes, heart conditions, or anything affecting healing.
- Eat and drink normally beforehand unless you have been told otherwise.
What to bring
- Any referral letter from your dentist or doctor.
- Recent X-rays or a CBCT scan, if you already have them.
- A list of your medications and doses.
- Your questions, so nothing is forgotten on the day.
How surgical planning works
Milda examines the area and reviews your medical history. Where needed, imaging such as a CBCT scan is taken so the anatomy can be assessed in three dimensions.
For implant placement and more complex treatment, digital planning may be used. The consultation covers the stages of treatment, the alternatives, the expected duration, and the written information you need to decide about treatment.
After oral surgery
Swelling, pain, or slight bleeding can occur after a procedure. After some operations, swelling may increase for the first 2 to 3 days and should then subside. Follow the instructions given for your specific procedure.
General guidance usually includes:
- Rest on the day of the procedure. Ask your surgeon how long to avoid strenuous physical activity.
- Use any prescribed pain relief as directed.
- Eat soft foods and keep the area clean as advised.
- Avoid smoking, which slows healing considerably.
When to contact the doctor urgently
Contact the clinic immediately or seek medical help if:
- bleeding does not stop even with firm pressure on the wound as instructed;
- pain is severe or getting worse and prescribed medication does not control it;
- swelling increases rapidly, you develop a fever, or other signs of infection appear;
- breathing or swallowing becomes difficult.
In an emergency, call 112. Difficulty breathing or swallowing, or heavy uncontrolled bleeding, are medical emergencies. Online booking on this website does not replace emergency medical care.
